Massachusetts Supreme Court: black men have right to flee, can’t be arrested merely for running

Today’s police forces are having a hard time.  Not as hard a time as every black man in this country, but a hard time nevertheless.

And now comes a brilliant analysis of WHY black men run when approached by police, and a decision that running alone is NOT probably cause for searches.

The ruling is monumental.  Now, each defense attorney in the country needs to allude to it each, and every, time they are defending an illegal search.  The ruling is not a legal holding for other states.  But… The police should not be allowed to search someone on the pretext that police assumed they were guilty.  Here, the Court found that black men run for good reasons!  Like getting shot in the back, for instance…
