It’s not often that a legislator remembers inmates.  Thus it’s quite a surprise to me that a Florida legislator, making a ROUTINE inspection of a prison, interviewed teens who had just arrived and learned that a guard had punished them by requiring them to throw away their lunch.  That can’t legally happen, but does.  Thankfully, this practice was exposed.  This time.

What would it be like if all prisons had legislators waling the halls and interviewing inmates?  Wow, what a delicious fantasy.
